• Description:
  The General Foreman - Finishing Works is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all finishing works on commercial construction projects. This includes the management of the construction team, subcontractors, and all resources required for successful project completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in the management of large construction projects, and will be able to manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  Key Responsibilities:
  •Plan, organize, and direct all finishing works on commercial construction projects
  •Oversee the work of subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring that quality standards are met
  •Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with construction plans and specifications
  •Collaborate with project managers to develop project timelines and budgets, and ensure that all work is completed within these constraints
  •Hire and manage construction teams and subcontractors, and ensure that they are trained and developed to meet project requirements
  •Ensure that all construction work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and requirements
  •Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders
  •Ensure that all finishing work is completed to a high standard, and in accordance with the company's quality standards
  •Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met, and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner
  Requirements:
  •At least 8 years of experience in the management of commercial construction projects
  •Strong knowledge of finishing works and materials used in commercial construction projects
  •Excellent communication and leadership skills
  •Ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively
  •Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively
  •Good understanding of safety regulations and requirements in the construction industry
  •Strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  •Ability to work well under pressure, and to meet tight deadlines
  •Strong computer skills, including proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
  Physical Requirements:
  •The General Foreman - Finishing Works must be able to work on construction sites and to perform physical tasks associated with construction work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects. They must also be able to work in all weather conditions.
  Working Conditions:
  •The General Foreman - Finishing Works will typically work on construction sites, which may be located indoors or outdoors. They will be required to work long hours, and to work on weekends and holidays if required. They may also be required to travel to different locations to oversee construction projects.
