Description:
Responsibilities:
•Assist the HR & Support Functions Manager in the procurement cycle, including soliciting bids and preparing comparison sheets.
•Support supply chain functions and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
•Assist in administrative tasks, undertake assigned projects, and support HR & Communication Officer.
•Follow and maintain the Material Management Procedure throughout the procurement cycle.
•Provide training and support to staff regarding procurement processes.
•Organize and maintain an archiving system for closed purchase orders (POs) to facilitate future audits.
•Maintain an updated contracts register and control multiple contracts.
•Facilitate tendering and subcontracting activities to achieve quality at minimum cost.
•Evaluate the performance of service providers and suppliers.
•Support warehouse supervisors during end-of-year stock counts and act as their substitute in their absence.
•Coordinate with various departments for shipments, invoices, payments, logistics, and compliance with calibration and inspection standards.
Requirements:
•Degree in Engineering Industrial or Civil is preferred.
•Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
•Strong communication, business writing, and negotiation skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Ability to perform alpha and numeric data entry tasks.
•Valid driving license.
•Flexible work hours to meet operational demands.
