Description:
Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement, and continuously improve security and safety policies, procedures, and programs across the organization.
•Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security and fire hazards.
•Develop and implement security protocols and fire prevention policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and staff training on emergency procedures.
•Oversee emergency response plan development and execution for fire, security breaches, and other emergencies, including regular drills and employee training.
•Manage budgets for security and fire protection operations, ensuring cost-effective procurement of equipment and technology.
•Select, install, and manage security technologies such as CCTV and access control systems, along with fire protection systems like alarms and suppression systems.
•Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and NFPA guidelines.
•Investigate fire incidents to determine causes, contributing factors, and preventive recommendations, collaborating with relevant authorities as needed.
•Conduct regular audits and corrective actions to maintain compliance with fire safety and security standards.
•Participate in HIRA and Aspect-Impact analysis to enhance safety protocols.
•Stay updated on advancements in safety, fire protection, security technologies, and regulatory updates.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Security Management, or related fields.
•Experience 10 years in safety and/or security management, including 6 years in fire protection engineering and 4 years as a Security Manager or equivalent role. Certification as a Fire Protection Engineer (CFPS) preferred, along with other certifications from NFPA or IFE.
•Proficiency in fire safety design principles, risk assessment, and security protocols.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
•In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment.
•Familiarity with Saudi Building Code, HCIS SAF directives, and NFPA standards.
•Expertise in security technologies and regulatory compliance.
•Budget management and emergency planning proficiency.
