  Key Responsibilities:

  Firewall Management:

  • Administer and monitor Fortinet firewalls, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
  • Regularly review and update firewall rules to enhance perimeter defense and maintain compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related incidents effectively.

    Cloud Security:
  • Deploy and manage cloud security solutions such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Azure Information Protection (AIP).
  • Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential threats.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational cloud security policies.

    Security Event Management (SEM):
  • Implement, manage, and optimize Security Event Management (SEM) solutions.
  • Analyze security event logs and respond to alerts to mitigate risks.
  • Generate actionable insights to improve incident detection and response processes.

    ---

    Network and Infrastructure Security:
  • Ensure the security of networks, servers, and other infrastructure components against cyber threats.
  • Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and apply necessary remediation’s.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure network designs and protocols.

    Antivirus Management:
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain antivirus solutions across the organization.
  • Monitor for malware infections and take swift remediation actions.
  • Regularly update antivirus definitions and ensure effective endpoint protection.

    Security Analysis:
  • Perform routine and intermediate-level security analyses to identify potential risks.
  • Provide recommendations for strengthening the organization's security posture.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver comprehensive security reports to the IT Manager, highlighting incidents, trends, and recommendations. Assist in developing policies and procedures to improve overall security awareness and compliance.

    Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

    Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar security engineering role.
  • Proven expertise in managing Fortinet firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools such as DLP, AIP, or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SEM solutions and network/infrastructure security.
  • Experience in antivirus deployment and management.
