Description:
Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement, and manage the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures across the organization, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
•Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
•Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
•Provide HSEQ training and awareness programs for all employees, ensuring a strong safety culture within the organization.
•Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
•Liaise with external regulatory bodies and clients to ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations and client-specific requirements.
•Oversee the management and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring environmental protection and compliance.
•Continuously review and improve HSEQ management systems and practices to maintain the highest standards.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSEQ management, preferably in facilities management, construction, or a related industry.
•Strong knowledge of local and international HSEQ regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001).
•Proven experience in leading HSEQ audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive a safety-first culture.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Certification in HSEQ management, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar, is highly desirable.
•Proficiency in HSEQ management software and tools.
