  • Description:
    1. Operational Management
      • Oversee daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of systems and networks.
      • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve performance and reliability.
      • Ensure adherence to company and industry standards for quality, compliance, and security.
    2. Team Leadership
      • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
      • Facilitate training and professional development to keep the team updated on current technologies.
      • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and create improvement plans as needed.
    3. Service Delivery & Support
      • Ensure that technical support is provided to internal and external clients promptly, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
      • Manage the IT ticketing system, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
      • Collaborate with the customer support team to address any escalated issues and ensure the optimal user experience.
    4. Infrastructure Management
      • Monitor, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, to support business continuity.
      • Coordinate system upgrades, security patches, and other maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
      • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
    5. Budget & Vendor Management
      • Prepare and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and allocation of resources.
      • Engage and manage relationships with third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs).
      • Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performance and adjust as necessary.
    6. Process Improvement
      • Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
      • Implement best practices and industry standards, focusing on automation and scalability.
      • Regularly assess risk and develop mitigation strategies.
    7. Project Manager
      • Oversee technical projects from conception to completion.
      • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
        Qualifications:
      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
      • Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT operations with at least 3 years in a management role.
      • Certifications: ITIL, PMP, or relevant certifications are highly preferred.
      • Technical Skills:
        • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
        • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization, and database management.
        • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
