• Description:
  Responsibilities:
  •Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ) with the architect and/or responsible engineer.
  •Closely work with design teams for the preparation of project cost estimates at various design stages (e.g. concept design, schematic design, draft final design, tender documents), as needed.
  •Conduct a unit rate and cost analysis for various design options presented by design teams for projects of high complexity, as needed.
  •Lead the development of Bills of Quantities and ensure all key elements are included and comments from relevant design Sectors and Departments are incorporated
  •Coordinate with the Electrical and Mechanical Department Quantity Surveying teams for the development and incorporation of electrical and mechanical Sections of Bills of Quantities into the overall tender documents
  •Participates in self and other's education, training, and development, as applicable.
  Requirements:
  •Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field preferably Civil Engineering.
  •Fluency in English, both written and oral is required.
  •5 years experience in the Design field with at least two (2) years in-depth as a Quantity Surveyor.
  •Understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
  •Knowledge of local engineering-related rules and regulations.
  •Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office including spreadsheets and databases, Primavera, and/or Microsoft Projects.
