    Responsibilities
    •Main responsible for Aircraft Structural Fire/Rescue Operations.
    •Assures ICAO and GACA compliant ARFF services.
    •Develops -Implements Fire/Rescue/Emergency Response plans.
    •Own and maintain the Airport emergency response plan (AERP)
    •Review and coordinate the daily work of the firefighters.
    •Develop and periodically review staff Training program.
    •Coordinates the supervision of the shift crews in the care and maintenance of equipment, standby details, airport self-inspection program inspections, Badge issuance, wildlife management and other assignments.
    •Schedules and plans and exercise coordination of the annual and triennial emergency exercises.
    •Prepares plans for handling of extreme situations (like aircraft traffic and high volume of passengers etc.)
    •Provide information services to local agencies to include but not limited to the Airport Emergency Plans (AEP).
    •Develop-Improve standard operating procedures (in collaboration with field operations supervisors) governing response to and operations at firefighting, crash landing and rescue incidents.
    •Responds to the above-cited incidents and takes role in commanding of public safety activities (in collaboration with other safety related functions), including assessment of the techniques to be employed in individual incidents.
    •Assists Division Director to prepare and administer the Fire Service Fiscal Budget.
    •Coordinates, assists and directs as required international, and local agencies in matters relating to activities.
    •Coordinates Fire/Rescue plans with other agencies that are involved with Airport emergency operations. Participates in developing Airports Disaster Operations Plan.
    •Assists in developing and updating mutual aid plans for public safety operations with local officials.
    •Assists in the care and maintenance of equipment and the cleanliness of the quarters and adjacent areas.
    •Controls the supervision of the entire training program.
    •Controls the deployment and efficient use of equipment and personnel during emergency situations.
    •Review reports of fire-related emergencies and accidents and makes recommendations for preventive action.
    Responsibilities
    •Bachelor's Degree in related field.
    •English (Fluent), Arabic (Fluent).
    •MS Office (advanced).
    •10 years of experience in Fire/Rescue Services including 5 years in managerial (chief or above) position. At least 2 of the last 5 years must have been in equivalent position at a Category Nine (9) airport.
    •Qualified to NFPA – 1021, Officer, Level VI. Shall also be qualified to NFPA – 1031 Level II in Fire Inspection, Fire Investigation and Fire Prevention Education officer; NFPA – 1041 Fire Instructor Level II and NFPA – 1003 Airport Fire Fighter.
    •Valid heavy vehicle operator’s license in country of origin and ability to obtain same in Saudi Arabia.
    •Must be familiar with NFPA Codes and IFSTA manuals.
    •Hazardous materials handling, biological hazardous materials handling, storm water pollution prevention, EMS, wildlife management, explosives, first aid and maintenance of firefighting equipment.
    •Effective communication both orally and in writing, with the public and other employees.
