• Description:
  Responsibilities:
  • Inspects the functionality of all Building and Infrastructure systems, facilities and installations under his supervision in compliance with written procedures and take necessary corrective action.
  • Supervises the inspection of installation in his charge and evaluate contractor's performance in Operation & Maintenance.
  • To Review and make recommendations on Budgetary estimates related to the department.
  • Ensures that the operation and maintenance of Building and Infrastructure systems in charge meets the requirements.
  • Managing the operational expenditures (OPEX) of the annual demands for spare parts and tools and the capital expenditures (CAPEX) of the section.
  • Ensures and approves the annual preventive maintenance schedule, and oversees its strict implementation.
  • Ensures the timely, efficient and coordinated execution of the day to day functions of the contractor in respect to the contracts.
  • Ensures the implementation of operations and safety instructions.
  • Directs, advise and monitor the performance of personnel at all levels.
  • Coordinates with the engineers and inspectors for establishing monthly inspection schedule programs and distribute the schedule before the beginning of the month.
  • Reports to upper position difficulties, shortcomings and faults and takes necessary action.
  • Implements work methods and decision help tools (action plans, kpi, annual reports, budget estimates, statistics, planning, work procedures, training schedules,…).
  • Budgets, Monitors, and controls the yearly spare parts and material consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Monitor and managed outsourced vendors, service providers, and/or contractors performance to ensure quality of outsourced service.
  • Monitor and managed the projects related to this department.
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in building construction and maintenance work (including facility management), 2 of which must be at a managerial level.
  • English & Arabic.
  • Ms Office (upper level), AutoCAD.
