• Description:
  Responsibilities
  - Prepare detailed cost estimates for soft and hard landscaping projects, including irrigation and MEP works.
  - Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.
  - Break down costs into materials, workmanship, labor, tools, and equipment.
  - Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
  - Collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure accuracy in cost estimation and tender submissions.
  - Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost impacts.
  - Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within stipulated deadlines.
  - Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information necessary for accurate cost estimation.
  - Maintain an organized database of historical costs and quotations for reference in future projects.
  - Assist in the negotiation of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  - Review and assess variation orders and prepare associated cost estimates.
  - Keep track of design changes and their impact on project costs.
  - Facilitate the submission and communication with all involved parties.
  - Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth project handover post tender award.
  - Participate in post-tender negotiations and clarifications as required.
  Requirements/Qualifications
  - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  - Proven experience in cost estimation and tendering with a focus on landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and MEP works.
  - Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of planning software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project) and BIM is a plus.
  - Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down costs into materials, labor, tools, and equipment.
  - An established network to obtain quotations within the Saudi market is a plus.
  - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  - Attention to detail and awareness of technical requirements and details.
  - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  - 4-8 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience in KSA.
  - Ability to work and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  - Previous experience in tendering for large projects with over SAR 100 million.
