As the Market & Product Manager (Special Steel), you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies, product development, and market expansion initiatives within the Saudi market. You will leverage your extensive experience and bilingual capabilities to communicate effectively with a diverse client base, suppliers, and internal teams. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring the continued growth and success of our special steel products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the special steel sector.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans tailored to the Saudi market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Product Management:
- Oversee the development, launch, and lifecycle management of special steel products.
- Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure product quality and innovation.
- Define product specifications, pricing strategies, and value propositions based on market needs and competitive analysis.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and product training to the sales team and clients.
- Marketing & Communication:
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Create marketing materials and content in both Arabic and English to cater to the diverse market audience.
- Manage the company’s brand image and reputation within the special steel market.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in products and services.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare detailed reports on market performance, sales trends, and product profitability.
- Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in market and product management within the steel industry, with a strong focus on special steel.
- In-depth knowledge of the Saudi market and its regulatory environment.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and market expansion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficient in using market research tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
