Description:
As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and overseeing the promotion of our extensive range of building materials to clients in Egypt. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a sales team, establish strong business relationships with key stakeholders, and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in building materials sales, preferably within the Egyptian market, and possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
▪Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market share in the building materials industry.
▪Lead a sales team and provide guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure they meet individual and team sales goals.
▪Identify and prospect potential clients, build a robust sales pipeline, and oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
▪Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
▪Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to provide technical expertise, offer product recommendations, and support their project requirements.
▪Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
▪Conduct market research to gather insights on customer preferences, demand patterns, and pricing dynamics, and provide feedback to the management team for product development and pricing strategies.
▪Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our brand, generate leads, and increase market visibility.
▪Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
▪Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential areas for growth.
▪Mentor and train sales team members, sharing industry knowledge and best practices to enhance their sales skills and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
▪15+ years of experience in building materials sales, preferably within the Egyptian market.
▪Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the building materials industry.
▪Technical background in engineering will be a significant advantage.
▪Strong network and existing relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
▪Extensive knowledge of building materials, their applications, and industry standards.
▪Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
▪Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and guide a sales team towards success.
▪Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
▪Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
▪Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for lead management and reporting.
▪Flexibility to travel frequently within Egypt and occasionally abroad for client meetings and industry events.
▪Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
