  Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  ---

  • Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations as required
  • Participate in developing and designing TCP/IP network architecture and wiring infrastructure
  • Participate in design monitoring systems and policies with aim to proactively capture possible performance issues with goal to keep the network infrastructure available
  • Plan, test, and implement upgrades for our network infrastructure
  • Carry out the development, installation, configuration, and administration of network infrastructure
  • Resolve technical issues and maintain high-quality and performant network infrastructure
  • Actively analyze network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems
  • Suggest improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability as necessary
  • Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
  • Carry out all network service requests for end users’ workstations or terminals
  • Adhere to security policies and requirements
  • Manage user access
  • Liaising with vendors to implement network infrastructure solutions
  • Performs relevant and new job-related duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Hands-On experience across a variety of network systems and products including broadcasting networking and network operating systems
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
  • Knowledge about DevOps tools and best practices
  • Sold time management and inter-organisational skills

    Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification
  • At least 2 years of work experience in similar role with proven history of security incident detection, incident response, and forensics
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail with an analytical mind
  • Great awareness of IP Network infrastructure, applications, tools, trends, and Network Security Technologies
  • Knowledge of Software development life cycle and related frameworks/methodologieswould be an asset
  • Certification in ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
